... E in Italia oggi ??
Mancano le iniziative, le scuole, le conferenze, i concorsi e le rassegne espositive, ecc.
Ecco ho deciso di scrivere questo blog, alla prima parte in Italiano e poi in Inglese.
Sperò che questo aiuti di favorire un ulteriore sviluppo dello smalto in Italia e rinascere quest'arte, la più antica del mondo -!

About Vitreous Enamel, Missing initiatives, schools, conferences, competitions and art exhibition, etc.
That's why I decided to write this blog in Italian first, and then in English.
I really hope to revive the Art of Enameling in Italy -!

I passed a final exam and became a Certified Instructor in Art Clay Silver In November 2012 - !    I'm a current member of the Art Clay Japan and the Artclay World Europe.

In 2013, I'll be happy to share these exciting technique of combining metal clay and enamel.

26th International Cloisonné Jewelry Contest

The Japan Shippo Conference. Juried Exhibition will be held at the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo  from April 8-14, 2013.

Any type of enamel jewelry, not just cloisonné, is eligible.

Enamel Exhibition: Japanese Enamels

This is an interesting exhibition of the art of Cloisonné enamelling -!

"  Japanese Enamels:  The Seven Treasures  "

When:     14 June - 19 August  2012
Where:    Room Japan 45     at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
Display:
Combining the V&A's historical collection with the Edwin Davies Gift of cloisonné enamels, this display presents a rounded picture of one of Japan's most exquisite art forms.  View over 120 objects dating from the late 17th to the 20th century.

E' una grande occasione per saperne di più' sull'arte dello smalto, sopratutto per la tecnica del Cloisonné.

Mettendo insieme la collezione storica di V&A con la collezione del cloisonné di Edwin Davies Gift, questa mostra offre l'immagine di una delle forme d'arte più squisite del Giappone.  Mostrano oltre 120 oggetti databili dal fine del 17° secolo al 20° secolo.
